They said the Revolution would not be televised, but
I’m watching the outrage before my very eyes…

For 400 years you’ve had your knees on our necks,
Trying to break our spirit with the terror you reflect…

From Diamonds and Gold and wealth untold
We rose from Pyramids and thrones…

From the Afrikan Sun
to the Barrell of a gun you came to invade our homes…

You cracked your whip and loaded your ship and forced my village to leave…

I lost My language, My land, My Culture, My God Overwhelmingly I could not breathe…

From Every step you took my breath when i rebelled and stood as a Man…

Your Rope would dangle and strangle my neck if i refused to work your land…

You disguise your lies right before my eyes even promised to let me go…

But the powers that be would not set me free you unleashed a plan called Jim Crow…

But your sticks and stones, bullets and bombs can’t tear us from this Earth…

We’re Princes and Queens, Champions and Kings and wev’e been that way since Birth…

You’ve Raped and robbed, lynched and burned, hated and Castrated my kind…

But your dealing with the seed of the undying breed the unmistakeable, unbreakable Black mind!

We’ve experienced every punishment your mind could conceive…

From plantations to incarcerations every trick up your sleeve…

Police Brutality is nothing new the Slave Patrol came way before you…

We’re built to endure we’re tougher than leather and the whole World trembles when we all come together…

No longer will we wait for your justice and Peace we want an Eye for an Eye for all of the Crooked police…

Chill✌🏾
