Dear America
We have been your back bone
for over 400 years
and you continue to be displeased
and discredit our needs
Our needs are not hand outs
they are planned out
By the people
But there is no one to listen
And think
we pay these Politicians
Dear America
we have kids dying
from water
and you don’t care to bother
because it’s not in your hood
it’s the majority Black neighborhood
Big banks understood
that if we eliminate Flint’s water supply
We can make a lot of money
and the people will get by
and if they die
why cry
They are not our people
So why not allow them to die
Dear America
everything is not about money
Look;
Bees make a lot honey
without asking for money
Take heed America
Because greed
is our downfall
from being freed
and being the world’s
powerhouse
is the biggest pressure
that we don’t need
Until we become a Civilized nation
that respects all God’s creations.
